OUR CONCEPT IS PRODUCTION WITH SAFETY

The personal health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, clients and third parties is our top priority. Since the Company's inception in 1980, the Company's safety program has evolved into a comprehensive written program under direction of our Safety Director, and Safety Committee. Our written safety program moves from paper to jobsite through ongoing training programs and open communication between all employees.

As J&D has grown, so have the needs and demands of regulatory agencies and the industries and clients served. J&D’s Safety Program provides comprehensive training to all project management and field personnel including OSHA and equipment certifications. All employees undergo specialized training and certification integral to their job. J&D's Safety management includes an OSHA 500 certified trainer.

J&D also works closely with project owners, general contractors and construction managers to comply with all job specific and regulatory requirements. On all job sites, we first identify conditions that are harmful to the safety and health of site personnel. From there we proactively initiate procedures and solutions to reduce, remove and prevent unsafe conditions. We maintain documentation of procedures and practices through job task analysis for each task under the direction of field management. Periodic inspections conducted by Management ensure compliance with policies and practices.

J&D also maintains qualifications as a contractor through clients' own, or third party, prequalification sites such as, ISNetworld, FirstVerify, SMI Safety and BROWZ. J&D also conducts prequalification to document and assure that all subcontractors used in connection with our work are meeting the requirements of J&D's Safety Program in addition to any client-specific requirements.
